got home ok, fingers were crossed etc,

bought a new interior light bulb yesterday not quite the same as the one that came out thou, checked the voltage on the terminals all ok, fitted the new bulb works a treat goes on when you open the doors and switch's on with the headlight switch turned anticlockwise thanks for the advise on that issue

re: the bulb ive bought the chap in the shop said its usually for a fitment on the ends not a clip in one although its the same diameter and length, he didnt have the correct one and didnt know if its possible to get one but im sure someone on this forum knows where i can get the proper one

re: starter motors i had a problem like that with my sierra 4x4 but it was the bendix gear that kept sticking, the nice AA man said unless i wanted to pay for a new one i would have to give it a tap couldnt get to it with a hammer handle so had to use a length of 2x2 worked a treat every time, he didnt mention taking it off to sort the problem, mind you, you do get some very odd looks from people when your in tesco's carpark hitting something in your engine bay?
