Got to Billing and back with no probs(160 miles) with a ton and a half hanging off the rear bumper. The oil temp/trans temp and water temp all stayed around 170 with the fans on and less when we got stuck on the M6 on the way home.Had to come off at J3 and go through the middle of Coventry trying to find the A45,which would be no problem but the car and van are 40 foot long.Makes short notice lane changing interesting!!!
Got home at 3.00 Monday afternoon, dumped the caravan on the drive and took the car straight down the body shop for a "good going over"Hope to have it back by next monday
Note the vinyl stripes have gone..They are being sprayed this time and laquered over..Also going for gloss black hood scoops this time not satin
I have some fender repeaters for the front wings
but am not too sure weather to put them on or not..Chrome or body colour???HELP,quick...

Also note that the door handles and locks have never been off despite its previous re-sprays,.From EF8 to blue, red, orangr twice and green.

Jerry/Marc I bought the car off Dave Honour who then went on to buy the now Les Perrin 68 Charger, from the States.I think he dropped out of the scene when he sold the Charger to Les(who painted it luminous / flourescant green) before it became the turquioise beauty that it now is..
Ivor, the car will be back with me this coming Monday,so the Nats should be no problem.I am booked in at 2 shows between now and the Nats, and a week in Spain in between.
No rest for the stupid eh???

I thought it was that car, david is the one who put us onto the belv, he keeps looking for another car in the states, and he had a copy of the old car trader and he knew we were looking for another car at the time and showed it to us, he has had quite a few cars, in the past, he has just got rid of a Dodge Dayvan, he may drift back into the scene again one day
body mans got his finger out,so far its had all the wrinkles of time straightened out and had 3 coats of primer.Tomorow see`s 5 coats of green and 2 of laquer.(after the back end has been sprayed gloss black and the stripes masked up)No more polish lines on the vinyl stick-ons 8)
Hope to have more pix tomorra if I can work my day to be in his area!!
