Looks like a one piece to me Blue? Where are the fixings to bolt the halves? (or are you kidding)

I was on a crappy moniter at work when I first saw it Clivey. On a proper screen I can see it's just a casting mark...

Just caught up with this build- great stuff :thumbright:
I bet you won't want to take the blower motor out once you've tried it :D

Just got to braze the sump internally. Leak test, then build and install baffle and remake oil pick up. Paint it, then that`s the bottom end mods finished.

I like a nice bit of brazing Jon!

Coming along very nicely, I've never heard of a motor blowing up because of too much oil!
The pump don’t work coz the vandals took the handles.

Jonathan you know if you are fitting studs, you should have the mains honed as the studs apply torque the bottom of the block differently to bolts. You may get away with it for a while but not forever.

I`m hoping it will be OK Guy ... only using it short term.

Got the sump baffles in, extended oil pick up and painted the sump.

Engine is now in, but sump just catches a bit on passenger side k frame, so will have to sort that. ( HAMMER )

Looks like radiator will fit in original postion. Headers are gonna be a nightmare. Will also have to make a filter housing and a few other bits

Jon mate, the blow hold down straps aren't supposed to go over the air filters like that :geek: :D

Looking great by the way! :thumbright:
