Hi Si,
I heard you won the Euro Millions and bought The Brutus Charger???
Good on you mate, you can use the Runner for banger racing now!
You can fit the diff without the snubber, and bolt that on at anytime.
Clever trick that, balacing the motor on one tyre!!!
Best wishes Bacca, and no more talk of selling

welding done and the K member almost complete, next weekend next weekend i can put the new steering box on,after that install the k frame which will be a big step, slow and steady wins the race
A section about 3 inch long and the width of the chassis came off with the k member,we measured re measured and triple measured where the nut and bolt should go took the plunge and welded cross fingers it is correct
K member was caked in underseal, oil paint, and christ know what else few hours with the wire brush and 4.5 inch grinder plus a splash of paint and walla
lots more pictures next weekend

Well i snuck off today and fitted the steering box, looks fantastic now, just need to put on my new tie rod ends etc [which are stuck in the boot of the car and i cant move the car to get them out just yet],the kframe dried nicely apart from a few bits of dust [unavoidable with my slightly drafty dirty garage] but otherwise well happy.
Next weekend front end goes back together woohoo, then providing nothing goes wrong weekend after next engine gearbox and prop

after that just alot of faffing around with tracking brakes etc etc but its all happening now

Hi rob it's the painted finish
from the supplier I think the finish is amplified against the black k member

Ivor wrote:Hey Si,
Not wishing to put a dampener on your shopping (which looks great by the way!) but check out where those rear springs are coming from on your second list, because I've heard all sorts of horror stories of new springs being made in Mexico...out of cheese!
I know, because I need to buy a set of rear springs for the Barracuda and I've been told by several people to be very careful.
You wouldn't want a saggy rear end would you?

You are spot on Ivor, loads of really crappy stuff about, evemn MP stuff got a bad rep
