Ivor's Road Runner...getting closer
Moderator: Moderators
Ivor, just showed Sarah the pics you took of the car today and she said "that looks good what did it look like before then?" So I showed her the pic I took when we went up to see it and she was amazed. "How did he do that? Did HE respray it?" she said. So I showed her all your progress pics on your site and she wants me to tell you she's VERY impressed.
(I get told off).

Well it's about time for an update! After blowing my radiator to bits, my brand new rad is on the way and this is going in over the next couple of weeks together with a fine pair of brand new nicely worked Eddy heads.
So, the spec is as below, so I will definitely need to sort carburation and timing...maybe a re-curved dizzy to get the best out of the old bird.
Standard bore block (hi vol pump, de burred, large bore and radiused oilways, Clevite, balanced, ARP bolts, true roller etc.
Flat top forged pistons (standard spec)
Ported and shaved Eddy heads (checking CR at the moment, but it's going to be high)
Eddy dual plane DPB4 Manifold.
Holley 750 Vac Sec and Hemi pump
Hydraulic cam 230/236 at 050" .488 .491 lift
2800 stall converter
3.55 gears
full weight body with connectors.
So guys, do you think this will go well or do you think I'll need the pipe the trilby and a nice cardigan to drive it?
