Hi
Just a quick update
The cam has finally arrived so the build can move forward again, engine and box should be mounted in the truck this week, so the prop shaft can be measured and ordered.
Hopefully the steering column will be fitted too, I'm going over later this week so I'll get some pics posted up after my visit 😎

Hi
Engine and box now mounted in the truck, fuel tank to mount next and install the brake system then we are very very close to getting out on the road to see what the old girl drives like
I should have some pictures in a day or two

Nothing wild just a 302 with an RV cam for extra low down grunt for towing the Coupe to the track

Steering column is fitted and completed, brake system 99% just waiting on two parts then the truck will go to my storage so I can finish the wiring and order up the missing engine parts, hopefully fire the Old Gal before Christmas

Hi to All
I've finally had some time to get a few jobs done on the truck, so I thought a proper update was in order 👍
The wiring loom has been ran around the truck, with the dash only needing the radio and 2 switches left to be wired, that'll just leave the front and rear lights and the normal dizzy alt starter engine stuff.
The fuel tank is in and all of the sheet metal is back on, tailgate is fitted with hidden catches inside the top roll of the tailgate.
Rear bumper has been moved up and back as it was nearly scrapping on the floor 😊
Wheels painted, Dog dish hub caps will go on later to break up the blackness, new washer jets installed as the truck never had any.
Mexican blankets for the bench seat but not the normal red blue stripped ones found on stalls at shows here, I got these from the States, the trucks original paint colour is Meadow Green which is still in the Cab, so the blankets follow the black/Green colour scheme.
Moon gauges to monitor the motor.
I've made up the new rear bed rails for the wooden bed, it had to move up 2 inches to clear the tops of the Air shocks so it's just the wood to finish the bed off 😎
