Sell yours privately, and waft fresh readies under his nose - and less than the asking price.
Either that, or keep the 'stang.

As some have said earlier, you'll have this wedged up ya if you need to sell quick unless the price is right, which probably wont be 5 figures.

Thats a big loss

Your car - your money. The Charger's a lovely car, but so's the 'stang.

Welcome to the board by the way :thumbright:

im sure you will like the Charger, so it is going to come down to the deal at the end of the day. As has already been said this guy has had the Charger up for sale quite some time now and there is a similar one for a similar price in another dealers so if this is the one you want then try him for £2000 + the Charger for your Mustang and see what he says (if you don't try you will never know) be prepared to walk away and let him chase you out the door to secure a deal :thumbright:

I think baz has it about right there.
These Aussie cars take a while to sell, and moreso at big money.
I dont know Mustang values but they are easy sellers, and Budgie does know what he is talking about.

If it is the Charger you like rather than just a MOPAR (which it sounds like it is - Good taste my man!!) then I would look at a real low offer and be prepared to walk away. They will call you back when they get no other offers.
As Martin said it has been for sale a while and any offer is better than none.
Even if the condition is perfect and all the welding has been done properly (especially scuttle and round the screen) I don't see this into 5 figures.

I would say £9.5K tops and it needs to be mint.

The engine might be nice but to sell Down Under originality gets more value.
Just remember rarity does not mean desirability. Its nice to have something very different, but it doesn't make it more valuable because it is different.
6 cylinder US Chargers were built and are uber rare (anyone seen one) but also nobody would want one either, other than to stick a V8 in it.

Well I'm impressed you had the willpower to walk!
I've never been good at that, I always have to take a grown-up with me to give me a slap in case i get all starry-eyed ;)

You can sit back now and wait on a good deal on the Mussy.

Interested to hear your opinion of the car was and why you walked. A few non-members have asked me if I know anything about the car and of course I don't.
