Have been waiting on some engine parts so in the meantime I started building my fuel chiller using standard components from DEI and modifying them to how I want them.

Pictured is the 2nd stage of fuel cooling.

Fuel will be precooled before entering this " tube in tube " heat exchanger and there will also be 2 stages of air cooling before air enters the carb.

All waste co2 will be vented at rear of car away from any potential air intakes.

Engine block oilway blocked off.

Next is to make a phospher bronze bush for bottom of oil pump drive shaft.

Other pic is my refrigerated intake under construction : This will sit between air filter and carb. All fuel entering carb will also be refrigerated. There is no mechanical drive loss or electrical loss. ;)

Why don't you just run it on methanol saves all this fuel cooling stuff more weight and plumbing. Then just a small tank at front lightweight mech pump and about 3 feet of hose ? Then you could run more timing, more comp' , and get the gain of ice cold intake temps

Intake and pan stripped ready to mod oilways

Centre caps will need to be cut to clear new pan

Degrease, prime and paint block

Clean rotating assembly of old oil

Clearance and fit crank scraper

Modify stock oil pump drive shaft
