I just had to try
turned out to be a night mare got there at 9pm. Got out the pressure washer out gave here a good clean. Front brakes where soild with rust and could not free then up. So had to take off the front cailpers to tow it back.

Vw t4 with that behined you with no brakes down a hill was not fun. got home at 9am the next day
Dave seats are yours and they are perfect
So have had a measure up and its a dana 70 with the 11inch gear gutted.
but love every min of ripping the engine and axle out. Better than trying to work out where all these shiny nuts and bolts go.
so dana 70 trailer axle for my tractor ???

You should get some of your money back with the engine the 360 that I had in my old camper was a high performance one with a 4 barrel thermoquad on it and a heavy duty 727

If its a heavy duty 727 they have more clutches and springs in the top and reverse drum and the planetary gear assembly have four gears instead of three. I know when I stripped my one down that's what it had.
