I would have been knocking the money out of him.
I once did a 600 mile round trip to get £100 back off someone. Cost me that in petrol. But no way was I going to let anyone Bananarama! me over.

Probably a good thing you don't live in the States Dave, there's been a few incidents you've mentioned on here that would have seen you reaching for your gun

I had a good idea who built that engine.
Isn't Paul500 and Bacca one and the same? , if not then appologies , seems Paul500 is blaming the parts even though the motor had different pistons and lets not forget the end float

, no getting away from it Baccy couldn't build a Bananarama! sand castle.

Well Bacca owns the Charger 500 in the name.
He wouldn't be the first (or the last) person in this club to cobble an engine together and cut corners. Which is why it is key to know exactly what parts you are getting and to see it at every stage of construction.
The best route is to get the short block built and then assemble everything else yourself. That way you can check the short block first.
Even someone I trust and with a good reputation like Geof Hauser. He offered to build my complete engine. But I said no to that. Just the short block. When it comes to something as important and expensive as an engine I would rather check everything with my own eyes.

i can see why they call you naughtyalan
i have not actually said who built what , they seem to have done it for me .
your right im not happy it was not the dearest job by a long shot , but i thought said person was a good guy , it could have been resolved a lot quicker and easier if i could have got hold of them and let them explain.
but to ignore me has got my goat up.
for those that know me it takes a little while for me to get wound up , then i explode
