Pete, it wouldn't be the same without you building a car in the pits.
The oil downs are a PITA, particularly so at Shakey, as they haven't got the clean up facilities that POD have. Better scrutineering wouldn't go amiss. I know you can't catch them all, but there are always twice as many at Shakey.
The muddy radials on the track can't help, either...

Great day out again!
Was great to meet up with some MMA mates, and meet some more of the long term members for the first time.
Have to say the day was somewhat spoilt by lack of racing.
Lots of delays for accidents and oil downs, with a special mention to the C4 Vette who started droping oil and smoking like a chimney after 15 meters.....So he did the sensible thing and kept his foot in for the whole 1/4 and closed the track for over 40 mins......
Another off track incident somewhere else on the site (not track), required the ambulance.........As they only have one and H&S rules that was another 1.5- 2 hrs lost!
Was also very quiet compared to last year.....People possibly still struggling financially?
