Set up on a Rival Channel?
Apparently, May and Hammond have declined to continue with the Beeb and are said to be staying by JC's side with a new venture made for Netflix

oh dear they look a bit sad, are they missing someone??

actually they appear to be in disguise, Hammond has grown some sort of facial mask, while May is wearing a crazy jacket (like he’s never done that before), probably so the other one won’t recognise them … what was his name??

Cant see TG lasting myself. Love or hate the old presenters that format worked that's why it was so popular. No matter how good the new presenters are going to be, it is never going to be the TG that's enjoyed by so many.

To be honest: I don't care how many multi million pound white Ferrari's Chris Evans has, I just don't think he's a real car guy.....

Guy Martin is great but he has Aspergers and I don't think the BBC could allow an even wilder cannon than JC (who is VERY calculating) live on air (i.e. the old TG Shows at the NEC and subsequent road shows....)

Just look at Guy's behaviour at the TT.....

Fantastic "Just do it" Bloke though, I'd love to have a beer with him......

I'm not saying he's perfect, but I think people forget that he was and is a good motoring journalist in his own right, for example, his column in performance car in the 80's was brilliant and well written. I think he has a depth that the ginger winger who bought us treats such as "get your knobbly nuts out" on the big breakfast can't hope to match.

Don't get me wrong though, he seems like their best option.

I don't think TG will be the same as last few years as the main guys have now gone.

It will be a new format and it may not be the same but will have to wait and see.

Personally didn't like JC and don't really like Chris but the program was a good entertainment.

I think for it to have any chance of sucess, Chris Evans will have to take it in a different direction, copying the old format will spell disaster. Part of JC'S appeal was his "Bananarama! you" attitude at anything diverse or PC. The BBC will be drooling at the thought of filling the other two places with someone from the minorities, either ethnic or gender based irrespective of what they may bring to the show. Personally i see it failing, as it was on the wain anyway.
