Driving in Harlow today I had four people pull out on me, each time was an occasion I didn't need to be indicating.
I live near a roundabout and hear a bang, looked to see a guy turning who was indicating and a car coming the other way just drove into him!
So it seems indicators or not we are chancing it every time we leave the house! I do drive very defensively especially in an older car or Classic. This started when I had a 59 VW bug with semaphores, no one sees those!

MICK - If you had continued to paste the text it will have said something about "designed / modified for off-road pursuits" i.e. Trials / Trail bikes where the indicators would last about 5 minutes.....
I think the old mantra that "any light fitted must function" is the one to remember....
....this is where they get you if you do a Police replica with Blues on it but you then say you are not impersonating a Police car because they are not wired up.....shot in foot springs to mind.......
