After a long hard slog by me and my friend in New Jersey my complete grille arrived today at his place. I was starting to worry after the first bit didn't arrive for ages but now the rest has turned up and he is busy wrapping it back up and shipping it over to me now.
The stuff looks first rate and my friend says it's great quality but as far as their customer service goes they stink and they never answer the phone. Saying that though buying this repro and shipping is still less than bidding on an original on ebay.

Went over to see my shipment of new engine parts today, cam, lifters etc... looking good. Eric says it should be done in another couple of weeks. I am relatively excited.
Ordered my front brake set up from a guy on ebay, 11'' rotors power front brake disc kit complete with everything required. Decided to go with popular oppinion and go for discs up front and drums on the rear, Dave Potts is bringing it back with him when he returns from Fresno in a week or two.
That's about it so far. Keep watching the skies!

There will be more soon as my engine is nearly done. Waiting for panels from Jack's Auto Parts and then the paint and body work continues.
I highly recomend a Stateside contact, I'd offer mine but he's rapidly growing tired of my constant email badgering and he's only doing it for me because he bought my GT40 off me.
For shipping stuff contact Neil (Wil on here) you'll find him in the traders section. If you need stuff shipped back from places that don't ship to here, Neil will sort you out with a Stateside address and a friendly shipping company.
I hope my Charger will end up being a solid, street car with a few little touches here and there that will make it unique but still a Mopar muscle car. Watch this space.

Can't vouch for the tail lights, haven't seen my grille yet but my man in the states says it's spot on. The company itself is not great at keeping in touch, in fact I was just thinking I'd been scammed when the first grille piece turned up.
As far as I'm aware they make the stuff to order which is what accounts for the delay and I'm pretty sure it's just a dude making them in his shed and that's why you can never get a hold of them. There you go, those are the facts.
I'm not so fussed about repro parts vs original parts, my car was a puzzle made up with allsorts and no matching numbers so anywhere I can save a bit of cash by getting reproduction stuff I will aslong as it's decent gear. Your car Clivey I imagine will be worth a lot more than mine after all the work at JPC so I don't know if my standards and budget should be applied.
Obviously it's your car, do whatever you like, I'm just not bound by any constrictions as far as my rebuild goes, that's all I'm saying. I just posted the ad from the company because I know people have a hard time find 69 grilles.

Mate, my car is not in for a total resto. There isnt a limitless amount of cash and there IS a budget. I am starting to draw the reigns in a bit on what will be done to the car - and yes, I have repro parts going on my car. I am not that far up my own ass. I want the car to look right but NOT at any cost
So don't do yourself down. Your car will look as good as the rest of them. I ask about the repro tail lights because if they were close enough to the original, I would use em.
As for mine being worth more than yours, the way the economy is going I doubt that very much indeed

(plus it's a 70

Clivey - no offense intended I just gauged your resto on the pics I'd seen, didn't mean to imply you were 'up you own arse' far from it. You have given me good advice in the past regarding restoration jobs and I appreciate it.
Latil - nice one, I just looked at google earth. Impressive, they should really hire some more receptionists
