so what date is it then, i think your friend is a member of the split screen van club called campercon, in their events list on their website there is no mention of retro custom and classic show but it does mention last years show 2007 (see link below)

bit of a pain that the link you posted doesnt work as all the pics are on there

I'll get on to that (he needs as much feedback on what does and doesnt work, as possible to make sure everything is accessible)

This is just a headsup for now fella. As soon as the concrete ifo is available I'll start a new thread.

And yes, you have the right guy. :thumbright:

Hmmmm, don't know for sure fella. The organiser (Conal) does have a Split Screen Combi which is being restored by an old boy in Dorset, and has just imported another 4 Bay wiindow vans from California. He also has an old beetle which is mildly customed and in lovely condition.

Not the same guy.

Blue, although the show looks VW biased, everything is very very welcome. The pics earlier in the thread show a healthy Mopar attendance. :thumbright:

Nope, nowt to do with me or the other twinge :?

Must be another Robert out there who is a twin, or possibly has Twin as a surname, the poor bloke

Looks like a good show but if it's a week before Brooklands (like it was last year) I doubt we'd go

Only saw a couple of mopars, I had fun at the show (they had a petting zoo yay). Wow I forgot how good it feels to be behind the wheel of a Datsun, I didn't want to get out of the car on the way home so I went via Petworth to get a Starter, (thanks Pete!) then dropped in to see three different friends in different towns on the way home to prolong my trip :) I had a great day and I am also full of tea.
