Problem is Paul, it's a 4 speed with pistol grip shifter. Don't really want to modify it but it may be the only way.

I do have a switch for a four speed but it comes with a knob as well :thumbright: ok if you had a ball but Bananarama! if you have a pistol grip :D :D :thumbright:

Floor switch is the only way to go. They usually supply a dipped/main beam type floor switch with the overdrive. :?

They do when it's an auto, but they supply a latching push button switch for a manual.

I run a toggle switch on me 747 cockpit panel :D , Bananarama! off with dipping the main beam when going to OD. :roll:

This is what GV supply (dip switch).

So what revs you pullin @ 70mph in OD with your 4.11s now Mick :?

Gonna check this again tomorrow, think it was about 2700 rpm at 70. Gears are 3.91. I checked the speedo with the sat nav and it's reading 1mph low which is good enough.

Mick , what's the plan with the new set up , are you going 4;10s & slicks , i know i keep askin this , but i really wanna see the potential of the motor , you gotta be bashin yerself up. :D ;)

You must be goin through the same thing as Al @ the moment , knowing it's there but not managing it :help:

:? I will have to get one of these things as im always on the BLOODY M4 or M5 :roll: Mind you i did have my speedo over the 130 mark the other week :oops: the guy in the GOLF AWD VR6 looked shocked so did my WIFE and KIDS :twisted: :D But he did video it :lol: haven't seen it on you tube yet :?

All I want to do is break into the elevens, for now anyway. :D
Lets see what it does next year on street tyres and go from there.

I was not looking to be honest but with 323 rear end and 275/60/15" alot with only tree gears :roll: I will have to try again to see :twisted: :thumbright:

You'll be fine with the gay 3;23s , just think yerself lucky you don't have to crank the sounds up when doin 80 mph @ 4500rpm , or 130 mph @ 7000 rpm. :shock: (motorway)
