Well.
£655.50 later I have my wheels.
Slight problem though (as always).
The diameter of the center hole in the wheel is 5mm to small to fit over the center of the brake discs on the front.
I will have to call Minilite on Monday to see what my options are and what they can do to sort it.
I could probably get them machined out at work but not sure how that will effect the powder coating?

I was looking at them for the Charger, But they didn't do the size I needed or wanted

From the mid to late '60s - early 70s no performance car was ever seen with steel wheels. The only reason you see so many steel wheels on restored cars these days is because the cars were originally ordered with them.
But the only reason the cheap steel wheels were optioned on performance cars was because the owners never intended to keep the wheels on the cars.
Every performance car you saw had alloy wheels of some sort.
On the drag strips they were mostly one of the 5-spoke designs. On the race circuits (both in the US and the UK) they were mostly Minilite magnesium alloy.
Look at any of the cars in the Trans Am (or British Touring car) racing series and you see Minilites.
If i wanted to get that 70s Drag Race look I would have gone for Cragar 5-spokes and fitted skinny front wheels. But my car is built for cornering because i do find that having to turn the steering wheel from side to side a lot is actually quite good fun as long as it is not down to a dodgy steering box.

Just wanted to add. These wheels are the best made wheels I have ever owned. Really good workmanship. They can obviously still do a good bit of engineering in the Midlands.

Look great, Dave. Shame about the fitment issue.
Have you a plan to resolve it ?
And, are you using the same tyres from the original wheels ?

I'll speak to Minilite first but I will probably get them milled to fit at work. Just need to find a guy I used to be in the gun club with years ago. And remember his name.
He should be able to do it or know someone that can.
New tyres going on Sandy. Same sizes.

They look really good Dave. What sort of side profile you having on the tyres? 60, 70? Nice wide rims on the back. Should look reaaly tops when its all complete.
So what is left to do before the old girl hits the streets? Must be there all bar the shouting?
Nice pitcutes Sandy, those three look tough as Junk Yard Dogs.

Could only find 295s in a 50 series Clive but the front 245s are 60 series so that the outside diameter is the same.
All I need for the MOT now is to fix the brakes and fit the windscreen.
I have a list of things that need doing to tidy the car up befor going to any events though. But the aim is to get it running and on the road by the start of May when the tax is due for renewal.

I am going to the factory that made the wheels on Monday morning.
A 400 mile round trip but my mate Tim is letting me sleep at his place overnight 12 miles from the factory.
They are going to machine all 4 wheels to take larger diameter center caps at no extra charge.
I am going to take one of the disc brakes with me to make bloody sure though.
I did find someone at work that could machine out the wheel centers but decided it was better to do it right.
