Thanks Dunc...sounds like a cam change might be on the cards!
I'll have this sorted and built within the next two weeks, so can you all have a lay in boxing day morning and please don't go anywhere near the Tingewick bypass!

Well work's got in the way, so I'm way behind schedule, but I've got moving today and thought it's about time for an update.
Been busy doing a complete dry assembly, checked clearances, stripped the motor again, matched the ports and despite what it says in the ads about bolting Eddy heads straight on, make sure you buy a set of 12 point ARP or Eddy head bolts and hardened steel washers.
Also, if you are running Hooker competition headers you'll have clearance issues on the passenger side, because of the angled plugs.
So, I've just modified the headers (niceley, not just beaten the sh*t out of them with a hammer!) so I can get my nice new MSD stuff on and I've just hung up the oxy acetylene torch, come in and poured myself a large Bulliet Bourbon and ready for a monster curry.
That's the way to do it!

Well, just to prove to Dunc that I'm not such an old git, I got the new motor all back together again last night, but as I hadn't connected the headers to the exhausts and most people were in bed by then, I thought it best not to fire it up!

I'm refinishing the air grabber gear in the original orange and black with a new Coyote Duster decal...then I'll dust off the Hasselblad Sandy!
