You have got to have a bit of off-road fun in your life, all tarmac and straight lines just gets plain boring ;)

You are right Drew. Pantera. For some reason the front 3/4 view looked like a Mangusta with a chin piece and rear wing. Gorgeous selection of cars. I am with you on the GT-R. Best piece of kit out there for sub £60k (uk prices - dunno what they go for in the US but I bet its cheaper than we can get them for). :thumbright:

yea i have a corgi(DIECAST) of a mangusta and the do look very similar.

the GTR ,he said he paid 75k usd,

and he had to get in line to get the car only 2 were delivered here to colorado, but i to like the car but after 5 laps the engine oil got way to hot and he has to shut it down ,let it cool and go back out,so not the most durable car for serious track use

Probably not track use Drew but I would be VERY suprised if anything else costing less than 3 times as much could keep up with it (an Ariel Atom wont hit 200mph before anyone says, and the Bentley Supersports is more than £150k)

The mangusta is a beautiful car, but reading about it some years ago, I learned the wishbone chassis was lethal. Tortional rigidity was extremely poor making the handling '...downright dangerous' as the author put it.

That one Duncan bought has a "list price" of over £170,000 I thought?

Don't know if he got a reduction for paying cash though. :D

.....the one geared for 236 wont do the acceleration times you quoted mate, it aint got aircon, or a stereo, or room for 4, or a PROPER warranty. It IS a kit car so will look like every other kit car (shagged) after a few years, you can go shopping in it, but only if you are popping out for some Rizzla. Not a patch mate, not a patch :thumbright:

I think as already stated, a lottery win would mean you could buy a car for every occasion so no ONE car can do all the jobs.

I get bored of cars quite quickly so would ordinarily sell it and start again.....I quickly realised that this was blowing money away as I'd often end up buying a similar car again. :?

So Lottery win WOULD mean I'd keep my beloved Mopar and most of the other cars but I would have to go get me a 250GT SWB and an original Cobra 427.

This would also stay because though I'm not into the typical Supercars I think this is timeless almost mirroring the original but with modern technology and it aint likely to be superseded any day soon. 8-)

Could never live without my truck...lottery winner or not

And depending on how big my win was I'd commission one of these

The Efigy......THE most handsom car ever created.

So when my numbers come up, it'll depend which is for sale at the time... Miura SV, 250 LM, XKSS.... :-k
