Weather looking iffy, just got to decide if it's worth the gamble driving all that way only to get rained off. Image

best of luck, Mike tricky call for sure at £6+ a gallon and 500 mile round trip
Luckily, I dont have to go as I have no chance of sneaking the Buick onto the strip. All those straight 80s lines rather give the age away!

After much soul searching decided not to go, BBC weather predicts rain pretty much all day Saturday, if I lived closer I'd go, but it's a heck of a way to go to sit in a wet field. :(

Try again next year.

You will probably get the odd light shower during the day. Maybe some heavy rain when the sun sets. But lots of dry spells and even some sunshine I would bet. :thumbright:

OK then Wendy, it's all your fault

I hope Dave is right, the forecast pretty much backs this up so let's hope for good track time. :thumbright: From my point of view it's a long way to go to spend two nights in a damp tent, maybe I'm just getting old

On another note, some interesting points on the 73 cut off criteria

I'm setting off in the morning and camping overnight. Might not race the car, just chill out with a few beers instead. Spend most of the time sitting in the fire up lane at these events and don't get to meet many members. See how busy the track is before I decide.

Roydon is now a grandfather and is otherwise occupied, so we are unlikely to show now.....
