The finish on that car is so beautiful, I think Im going to be sick!!!

John, superb job....you are definitely the man of the hour!! I know my ride is in good hands with you.

Clive, just look what you have to look forward to.

The plan with my car was to drive it like I stole it when I get it back....Im not so sure now. Every time I go to drop something off with John, he lets me have a look at the latest stage in the General's progress. The last time I looked at Phil's car a couple of weeks ago, when it was still on the lift, I walked away just pumped with John's level of attention to detail....I dont think anything had been left neglected!

Time to break open that champagne, hey Phil??!!

I went to John on recommendation by Jim Wilson - Phils car was icing on cake for me. I dont care how my car comes back (well, I do really  ) its going to be driven hard. Thats what I got it for in the first place.

Did me meet down at Johns Rod???

That's irony, coming from somone who's having their car acid dipped! And about driving hard, amen to that....shake down run and then it's on.

Sorry Clive I havent had a chance to meet you yet...I work ridiculous hours and the only chance I have to go and see John is on Saturdays 2 minutes to closing time when everyone, except John (who is a machine doing those 6 day work weeks), has dissappeared. Makes my life easier

Mine is the '68 sublime green road runner soon to be B5 blue.

We have met.

I met an American guy with his other half down there last year who had a 69 sub Lime RR. Would that be you?

Anyway, may well be at Wheels day tomorrow. Want to see the finished product.

Damn good memory! That would be me and my girlfriend. The penny's dropped...I remember you now. You gave me directions to get to Brighton from JPC.

When/if I get a chance to Wheels Day, I'd love to take another look at the General's interior...I was loving that steering wheel. See you there hopefully!
