You can plosh a racecar but you aint gonna race a deck chair

Yep all true , even if it's a factory style restored car they may as well get used as a car can always be restored again , they are only original once.

Only just read this thread,Awesome
That old maverick,Kenny Coleman owned when it was later called "Stampede"powered by a small block chevy.
The pair of Falcons on the Pennine drag race club stand, did the same display at loads of car shows at the time,I think one belonged to a guy called Neil Harker.
I think I need some big Wolfies on my 71 cuda
There were actually 3 Falcons in the Blue Rose team, there was another early one called the Thorn. It was either that one or Blue Rose 2 that Neil later owned and put back on the street.

Dave , the blue rose maverick and Falcons were raced by Melvyn Wooding 'woody' who ran frosts before billy from top speed took over, woody was massively into racing in the 60's/70's , if you look at the maverick picture you will be able to see it says his name above the blue rose script. Neil harker may of been in the team as well ?
Fentons or Ansen slots are what you want on the cuda

I was at that meeting at Snetterton, still have the programme somewhere. That was the first time I'd seen real pro stockers in the flesh.
