Just needs some wider rubber and it'd be perfect!!!!

Yes, I do want bigger wheels, the rear looks too empty. I want 15" wheels, I'm thinking 8's on the rear and 7's on the front. Need to look at photos of other gen one's to see what suits. Initially thinking Magnum's, Crager's or steels. Money is also an issue

Hi XP29,
My gen 1 Charger has 15 inch Cragar SS wheels. I will try to post some pics up over Easter

Thanks, I'm proper chuffed I've done it all myself and it's gone without any huge drama. Apart from grinding some of my finger off, but that will grow back.

XP29 wrote:Thanks guys, I need to check the tightness after 100 miles or so. I would like to have a proper geometry check done on it as so much has been changed. I have been looking but can't find anyone that can do it, only the basic wheel alignment they do at tyre places. Any recommendations in Essex/Herts that could do this for me?
If you don't mind travelling a bit further, you could try Monkfish Performance, a few miles SW of Milton Keynes.
Roger Keys, the owner (Roger on here) knows his Mopars and has his own 69 Charger, and has done the front end alignment on Morgan's 68.
