PS...... Stu's just reminded me, Paul Harbourne's 'Dayclona' has a 4bbl Hemi with a big chrome air cleaner, with a modified base from a 2x4bbl, apparently.
He's from up your neck of the woods (and speaks the same language
), maybe he could help?

Paint & chrome looks pretty good from here
Bit stuck what to suggest about the air cleaner tho - most original-ish looking early hemi's are 2x4's and have the big chrome jobbie. Think I've seen similar on a 1x4 tho. Please dont go for anything too 'modern' tho
Are you changing the front tyres Mal? If you've got a pair of 215/60x15 BFG's laying around (new or nearly new), let us know

The paint looks better in the pic's than it actually is, can't belive how it has deteriated out in the weather for 6 months
could realy do with a paint job, but then your to affraid to use it
Still time-out on the A/cleaner
The only BFGs i have in that size are on me cragars, not spliting old boy
I have however a pair of new 215-60-15 Cobras if any use
