Well, we have a heart back in the old girl. :woohoo:

Box is in :thumbright: (untested so will probably be a bad 'un knowing my luck  )
Prop with new U/J is in... :read2:
No power to coil.... :(

I'll post a thread up in the electrics part if anyone can help. I'll explain it all there.

Pleased with the progress though over the past few days. Lots of new bits collected over the last couple of months have had the dust blown off 'em and got fitted this weekend.

Can't wait to get some power to her and spark her up. :D

Cheers Adam.
Looks abit tidyer now than that last pic.
Just been spending a few days up underneath the rear cleaning up the chassis rails, leaf springs and axle etc.
Thought it was about time I updated this with a few.
Painted the drums too. Looks rather nice now :thumbright:
It's amazing what room you have under there when there's no petrol tank fitted :D

Not done too much to the car due to bad weather / no light in the evenings etc. :( but I've been out to the shed every now and then when it's not too cold playing with bits. :)

Saves a few quid eh :thumbright:

Tested and it's water tight :D

We're off again.........

Took it over to a friends place the other day, and THIS TIME the bodywork will be done properly.

Not like Stevie Wonder did last time :angryfire:

The saga with the roof now, is that we've cut out the flat square bits the idiot welded into it and it's 99% gone back to it's original shape !!

I don't know where Stevie Wonder got the metal from, but it was that thick that visions of a Battleship's Hull keep springing to mind !

No wonder it wouldn't shape at all !

Still...... she's in safe hands now :thumbright:

....so I hope to be able to bring you updated pics on a more regular basis :)
