No problem Alex,if you ask for opinions they are never all going to be the same..Thats why I ask..
I am an ageing, rapidly balding, mechanic with no taste anyway. So the wheel opinion diference must be related to the ability to grow hair on the head!!!The theory`s right as far as Ivors concerned!!
Sorry Alex, i wasnt getting on your case about the old school stuff,
You might notice that I chop and change between my 17's and my 'Old School' centrelines quite often.
Your right the Big rubber does follow the Arch profile better and looks much Harder on the Mopar muscle......
..... But for that Muscle machine, model car look that you get with the 17's is cool too.
ALL KILLER NO FILLER
Nostalgia, its not what it used to be.
i like the wheels rich but would want more offset and more rubber, they are late model mustang yes?? i tried some on a b body and could not live with the inset they have, just need the same look more offset, but if you like em, have em would not do for us to all like the same thing,
duncs right, more rubber, the rims look great but if anything a bit lost, i was going with 17 on my satellite but ran out of money, seeing these has inspired me to save up for something BIG.
Massive thanks to our Budgie for doing me a deal on the wheels only.I have some 255/50/17 and 235/55/17`s on order so they may cure the lost tyre syndrome!!
That combination gives me an increase in overall diameter of 2" on the front and 1/2" on the rear. 8) or Time will tell..
Got a sort of full pic.Not the best but time is short at the mo as we are away this weekend, loads to do and all that stuff.I think it looks good but hey........its my car and if I didnt like it I would sell it
