Dave is spot on here, on a standard set up there is an induced missalaingment to stop vibration :thumbright:

i still have a angle on the diff, the trouble was my diff is sitting a lot higher than a axle would be, there was nearly 5" in difference between the output shaft and diff pinion :shock:

had a bit of time to start on my exhaust headers, not a lot of room on the right side had to cut away a bit of the suspension turret headers are 2" stainless tacked them in place ready for tigging.

Ah yes of course. You are making it very low with the rear wheels tucked up inside the body. I understand now. :thumbright:

Amazing - have you got room in the engine bay for the turbos? Was talking to a very well known race car builder and his suggestion for an E body was mounting the turbos underneath in front of the rear axle. Probably not as efficient there but just my 2 pennies worth if its any help.

Will you be able to get the valve covers off with the headers in situ? Assuming you are going to use some kind of mechanical cam, checking valve lash will be a nightmare if you can't.

Mike,yes just about they will go at front of engine at the top with exhaust through inner fender and over top of front wheels :thumbright:

Hi Blue,
they look closer than they are, the valve covers will come off at moment, will have to see what they are like once intake is on though :D

tiged tubes together and polished them today, ready for final fitting and welding, hopefull to get one side done this week and get one of the turbos positioned.

Fabulous bit of pipework, I struggle to weld on a rusty tail pipe for the MOT.
