I'm going to check this morning but I'm pretty sure they wont let us in until Friday morning as its not their own gig. I'll try the "but I'm a sponsor" routine but I don't suppose it'll get me anywhere!

There's stuff already camped at top of the pits. Daughter was there at the weekend for the VW do.

No camping on site is allowed on the Thursday. lots of people camp in the field across from the main gate..
Last year pod moved everyone off site who go onto site on the Thursday.

Just got the Challenger 340 through the MOT
Fitted tubular headers over the winter, so looking to beat PB 14.89 / 97.5
100 mph barrier beckons.
Shame about Kens diner...

I thought I was going to have to work all Weekend but got a last minute reprieve
Will arrive earlyish on Sat Morning and hope to catch up with you all.
A couple of questions please. I see from the map that the only Showers are up in the Pits,is that right?
And given my lateish arrival do you think I'll get a Pitch for a small Tent on that side of the Strip Sat AM?
Also if anyone is short of a Lift from the Tunbridge Wells area on Sat I would be glad to oblige.

Showers are in the main toilet block,hours are limited and you have to pay the nice lady a couple of sovs to use them. Generally hot/cold high/low pressure depending on users,but they are worth it.
