Drew - This Blue Moon wheat beer on sale in the UK is allegedly brewed in Denver, Colorado. Have you heard of it? It's "Belgian style" so is cloudy like Hoegarden and tastes like it.

Been a great read! Blue Moon was one of my beers of choice last time I was in the States, almost European in taste. Can't be doing with most American beer, especially anything "Lite" just what is the point of that stuff?

Yes I agree lite beer is close to bilge water, we drink mostly Mexican beer ( German recipes ) like Modelo, when it is hot here,a heavy beer just does not taste good, so some of my mates go with lite, and end up drinking twice as much, and the taste.......plain awful

Just got back from a very similar trip and I can recommend it!
Started and finished in Denver with 3500 miles in between. I'm very jealous of you Drew, great part of the country to live. (Apart from the 8-month long winters you get)!

WOW cool ,to bad we didn't hook up, oh well, and our winters seem long but here we don't get the harsh stuff they get back east,
If you look at my posts I still paint outside in jan.feb,so we have a unique climate here in Denver , but the Mountains, different story.
