It is Pete...

Well, in for a penny........ decided to spend a bit more on it.

Brakes, I have gone for a conversion kit from ECI.
New rear brakes, Willwood clutch and brake pedal, masters, and booster.
Gone for a a short throw after market shifter tower.
And the clutch is a centre force jobbie, with new release bearing and slave cylinder.
And a nice new flywheel.

They sound like sensible purchases to make it a nicer driving truck.

In a bit of a dilemma at the moment... After getting the SB built and installed, I have been offered another motor, And I am really tempted! It is a little different, but reminds me of a couple of cars built back in the 70's / 80's.
It is a rather nice Jaguar 6cyl. And comes with a wonderful triple weber intake system. Best of all, it is free. It would be great doing something like that. I just don't know!

Have the Jag engine and sell it in the Uk, keep the existing motor in the Truck.

Get this finished and build another car around the Jag engine.

Yeah... You are right, anyway, I now have a nice clean Jag six with triple webers! 8-) ......
Oh, and Billy is on this thing like a fat kid on Smarties! Joe is off with bad back.
Me? delegating at the moment. Just found an original pair of early Weiand valve covers for $50! I must age that SB... It looks too modern.
