The Toro above sold for a respectable USD 21K and does give a good example of how bidding works to eliminate sniping. In short, a bid in the last 2 mins automatically extends the auction by 2 mins each time so you can get a bidding war.

Few old 'ns for your consideration - the De Soto is very nice...
Not much Mopar on BaT worth posting at the moment, so here's a selection of the current offerings which I want for no reason other than avarice (my apologies for the GM bias but that's what's there at the mo):-
I went to see the blue 1990 Mercury Colony Park in Livonia, MI. That thing was mint and very low miles. Went for $20k in the end, makes me wonder if I should sell mine.

I didn't expect to see a MkI Escort on bringatrailer
Yeah looks a bit OTT but I can turn a blind eye knowing it has a "naturally-aspirated 2.9-liter V8 was built by Radical Performance Engines of the UK and reportedly features two 1.3-liter Suzuki Hayabusa cylinder heads mounted to a custom block, along with a flat-plane crankshaft, a dry-sump system, and individual throttle bodies."

There's a surprising number of UK classics on BaT on a fairly regular basis - normally the usual TR's, MG's but there's been Heralds, Land Rovers and a MK2 Cortina recently. If there's interest, I'll include links to such on future posts.
