The Bananarama! stud has led to a manifold swap if I want to get out in it o Saturday.
Only now I’m trying to track down somewhere that can do next day delivery on the bypass hose fittings, as the ones on the old manifold are powder coated in and won’t budge without mangling. Trying to browse websites on a phone at work is a pain in the arse and turning up blanks!

Open amazon prime account
put in the words brass hose barb....
presume they are NPT??
https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=pipe+barbs ... _sb_noss_2
they will be with you by lunchtime tomorrow
whack em on with some boss white or tape
pipe clips and hose of the correct barb size while you are at it...

That’s the terminology I needed Dave, cheers! Unfortunately I’m not home until tonight and don’t know the sizes, but I’ll see what I can find out!

what fanimould is going on
manufacturer's site or indeed adverts for it (mancini, summit etc, may well have detail
you get nout for free these days, i bet they don't sell the manifolds with the fittings
so i'll be surprised if you are the first person to ask the internet what size hose barb fits this ..edelbrock?? manifold
if they are a couple quid get 1 size either side justin case (i always buy something that doesn't fit for justin) and add them to your pile for the next swap meet...
or measure a picture use something to scale and make a good guess bolt heads if you know the size of the bolt head in the picture you can make a pretty accurate guess at the size of most other bits
i think the fat one with the slot cut is 3/4 NPT so the ID of the hose will be about 1 inch

a page full of nipples
https://www.manciniracing.com/hehonib.html
but seem to talk about hose ID not pipe fitting diameter
i. 1 inch hose usually goes on the 3/4 inch pipe fitting thread nipple
5/8 hose will be on 1/2 inch i'd guess... i may be wrong

Thanks Dave, but as is often the case, Blue to the rescue! Some proper ones on their way.
Yes, Rob, seems to be a theme at the moment! What you up to?

Fixing what appeared to be a minor 'ooh thats not quite right' vacuum leak, that quickly turned into a 'won't start' vacuum leak

Just the throttle / kickdown to adjust and I can fire it up and see if all the fluids stay where they’re meant to be.

yes, was a shame after all that work to get everything right, but needs must and time against me.
It’ll be replaced longer term anyway, it was a cheap get out of jail job that Jim turned up for me.
I’ll likely repair the single plane while it’s off the car anyway.

In today’s episode of CSI Bridgnorth….
Time to learn to paint! Just had to get rid of that ‘orrible underside of the bonnet.
Primer done, finished the last coat and a big gust of wind chucked a load of dust in it, but still looks better than it did!
Even decided to let the girl have a go, she’s going to have to do this Bananarama! when I’m too old. She did a great job.
Topcoat tomorrow.
