Headlight Bezels - 69 vs 68 charger?

Hi All

Quick question! Are the headlight bezels of a 69 Charger identical to a 68? When I say bezels I mean the actual plastic that surrounds the two lights when the lids are opened.

Cheers
Mike

69 chargers did not have them. only 68's had them fitted from the factory.

yeah Mike strange that , it looks odd when the doors are up compared to a 68 . must of been cost cutting by chrysler or some thing :? , because they got a way with reflectors only on the side marker lights also . a useless bit of trivia , in a 69 charger sales brochure it shows a 69 with the plastic surrounds / bezels . does not mean you can't fit them if you want :D

hi Adam , have not fitted them yet , still got to restore / build the grill , got a bit side tracked and ordered new reproduction head light vacuum lines & fitted them & started fitting the interior / re covered my original dash pad as the one i bought from a roadrunner that had been rolled years a go did not fit as good . :banghead:

Just checked in the garage & the 68 has them but the 69 does not. Learn something every day.

The thing is, when the lights are on (which is the only time the bezels are exposed) you could not see if there were bezels fitted or not, due, er, to the light............
