Some of the wheels stud holes on my Vectors are bigger than they should be I'm sure. The holes have enlarged and there is a crack on a couple where the hole is so close to the centre bore hole. (Hope that makes sense.

Where can I buy new Vectors.....I know some of you have purchased some recently.........Would like to now also what sizes are recomended together with tyre size.

The wheels on there are old and original by the look of them but I'm no expert.......I kinda like the manky used look but safety first I guess.

cheers

American racing re-issued them this year, try North hants wheel and tyre. As for sizes I think 6x14 was the "official" size but Im running 7x15 Fronts and 8.5x15 Rears.

I have got brand new 14" Vector SE's on my car. Ideally I would like to change the rears to 15" for better tyre selection, so maybe we could work out a deal here. 14" ones are great with "tall" tyres on them on the front, but I think that 15" look better on the rear.

Both Us Automotive and Raceways Donnington do good deals on these wheels at the moment.

Cheers guys....maybe mine aren't originals then as they are 15's. possibly 7 wide. The centres are black and the casting is quite course.

Pictures I've seen of the newer ones are kinda grey/anthracite and probably look a bit too sharp and shiney for my donkey but never mind.

Pete...I'll probably want to stay with 15's so if I buy I'll give you a shout re mine.

What size tyres you running Phil?

I'm running 235/60/15 on the fronts and 275/60/15 on the rears. There's a set of 5 8x15's on ebay at the moment here

There's also a set of 10x15's which I'd love for the rear of mine but sadly I've no dough :(
