don`t know if it`s news or not but received this today;

http://www.shermanparts.com/eml/2007.02/newsletter.pdf
Sherman & Associates announces new left & right front fenders for the extremely popular 1972-'74 Dodge Challenger (1970 and '71 will be available soon). These fenders include all the cut outs, brackets, fender braces and mounting holes needed for installation.

Original fenders in usable condition have long been virtually unavailable for these vehicles, and parts cars are usually found without front clips. The new fenders are made by an experienced automotive stamping supplier and will fit and finish with the quality both amateur and professional restorers have come to expect from Sherman parts.

They have been announcing them for over a year (Goodmark parts) but up until now have not materialised - maybe they are finally on sale :shock:

MM did a feature recently on fitting one of the first pairs (it was a 72-4) and thought they were pretty good. Most other people who have seen the prototypes have been fairly impressed, quality seems good (just like the full rear quarters that are available). I think they are still a thinner guage than the originals (tooling is cheaper) but good parts.
Long overdue and needed by many! Haven't seen a price but I'd guess $5-600 each.

Matt - you should be able to sell your 70's and buy the 73's (new or used) and make a decent profit.....though the availability of new replacements should put a dent in the price of used ones, there is still a market for (good) originals.
