Funny how you start doing one thing, and end up doing something else.....
My Winter project was to change out the Manual Gearbox for an auto, sort out the rear suspension and replace the fuel cell - easy
However, things have moved on somewhat, and while stripping out the gearbox, rear suspension etc, decided to refinish the under-carriage.
14 Drill / Mini Grinder Wire Brushes, 20 Rolocs, 2 Quarts of POR15, Primer, lot's of swearing and trips to A&E the Trunk & Main Floor section is ready for Base & Clear
In a week or so, I hope to continue with the original plan......

Like ivor say's " sweet memories" Its hard work but worth it , good call , nice one
Used the stone chip guard myself but you dont want to go mad with it , and think about where your boltin' stuff back to otherwise ya might have to scrape some off.
Just hit it where the stones are gonna chip basically

yep you know it ..

another good one was them flat wire wheels that fit on a grinder , no matter how much you cover up ,i always ended up with some stuck in my skin . where they had missed the welding apron & gone through the overalls & every time i moved it was like having blood taken at the hospital
