New toy arrived at the weekend :D
Title says it all.
Another genuine numbers matching car from Tony O. (Thankyou Tony)
Not as rotten as it looks. A real bargain :thumbright:
Been spending for it already  ( Haven't I Neil  )
Been stripping it out this week.
Going off this weekend to have welding work done which will take a few weeks to do. Going to pull the engine and box too for a rebuild. :read2:
Looking forward to doing this 1 8-)
Of course I had to say goodbye to my other toy, but I've got my all time favourite now so it was worth it.
I'll keep you posted on the progress of this 1, but in the mean time here's a few of it's arrival. \:D/

Quality Stu !!!!! :D

70rtse I could tell you what I paid, but you'd cry, wondering why you didn't buy it insted. PM me you if you really want to know ;) and yes, this is a keeper for me. I've always loved the 68. 69's are nice, but everyone wants one, and I prefer the rear of the 68.
70's just need a big blower through the hood

It's going to be a good project guys. Not as much rot as it looks.
Floors have gone aswell (typical B Body), mostly on the passenger side but definitely do-able.
Chassis rails are all good and strong, so thats the important bit. :thumbright:
As I said, I've been spending already. ( Take a seat and get a good book..... )

New trunk floor pans.
Trunk extension. (no prizes for guessing which side)
Both rear valence end caps (ouch!)
Rear shackles.
Washer bottle.
New Pump to go with it.
Starter relay.
Voltage regulator for the rear of the dash.
Dash face decals.
Hood turn signal lenses.
New seat covers front and back.
Headliner.
Sail panels.
Window felts.
Trunk seal rubber.
2 sets of complete locks/trunk lock/ign. lock so 1 will be for sale soon :)
Second hand rear side markers as 1 is orange and the wrong size.
Second hand passenger front headlight surround (behind H/L door as it's missing)

........ and you thought I'd finished......

New plugs
Points
Double roller timing gear set
Tear down gasket set
High volume oil pump and pick-up
Dizzy cap
Rotor
Leads, and Air filter

I think thats about it.

Don't ask me how much that little lot was, but the metalwork itself was over £400.

I have now officially killed my debit card !!! :violent3:
I spent so fast with it, it couldn't breathe. :deadski:
It just turned a funny colour, the "i" rubbed off in the word debit, then it just sagged, twisted and I couldn't read the numbers anymore.

There was a knock at the door a few hours later and it was my bank manager.

He had a big smile on his face, thanked me for putting up his branch profit's, and handed me a new GOLD debit card and said whenever I was passing the branch, I could pop in anytime for a cuppa
( Only kidding, it wasn't really gold  )

Anyway, it got towed up to a friends workshop today for the welding work to start and had some fun stripping abit more out :D

Enjoy the pics and I'll keep you posted with the progress :help:
