How did you get yer rear tail panel trim that shiny?

tail panel has just been reanozised--think that how you spell it --cost 10 pounds --shall then repaint :

I had my tail panel polished and clear anodoised.Still looks good 8 years on and no maintenance either..

Tell me, can you paint over an anodised surface??? Some of my tail panel needs to be painted black.

I have no idea,Ivephwoaaar may be able to answer that.I had no intentions of painting mine so had no need to ask the question.Sorry.

tail panels on RTs were painted semi gloss black ,from the factory,showing only a small amount off shiny bits on 1970 cars

Yep, just wondering will paint adhere to clear anodised metal ok. I am trying to consider any probs I might have after my TP has been anodised.
