You just answered yer question. 
Jack the front up , fill it to the top of the rad , turn heater on, run it till hot (stat opens) , let it burp itself til no more air , fill it up, put cap back on job done.
As you won't know how much antifreeze is in it , drain it all & start afresh.
While yer @ it , flush the block , flush the rad...................................
