Keep getting that nagging voice in the back of me head saying "you know you wanna go faster", so I'm saying "yea i do , but i swore I wouldn't spend any more on the Pit" , so what am i gonna do about it?
I either spend thousands on another motor

, or spend hundreds on a nitrous kit

, gotta be the nitrous kit.
Is it really cheating , as most guys are using it.
Before all you guys running nitrous bite me head off , i'm only askin a question & might even be joining the gang.

What is the CR of your curent motor?
It is the cheapest & quickest option, but you will soon be breaking parts....
I think you are brave with that Column shift and no lock out on the strip as well

Bear in mind the running costs. I have 150hp jets and use 2lbs of Nitrous per run @ £5.50/Lb, plus I'm runing C16 to try and keep the detonation down @ £4/L. Last weekend I got through one £80 drum of C16 and £80-ish of Nitrous. And I only did 8 runs, 1 off the Nitrous and 7 on. Can't you lose some weight? That's free horsepower

No need to be rude about my weight Kev.
Don't wanna strip the car of anything , maybe if the nitrous is installed/used properly , then any damage will be minimal , what yer reckon?

Precisely what does "Faster" mean?
Unless you start setting some objecives or specifications it is hard to say.
10 Second car - very very hard.
Mid 11 second car - possible on Nitrous IMHO.

Paul Worrow's very heavy Gen3 Charger was running low 11s with a big cammed 440 and 250hp of nitrous, driven to, and sometimes from, the track. The engine held together, it was the prop that went bang! When you have forged pistons you can really beat on it with the nitrous (140hp limit of nitrous on cast pistons is the Holley recommendation)

Got Ross forged pistons in there @ the mo , CR around 10.1 with eddy heads.

See you in a couple of weeks.
