It's a race car at the strip and one of the most impressive to see so i say yes :thumbright: Plus you get to use it on the street 8-)

I wonder how many "Street/Strip" cars would become "strip only" cars if they had to drive over 250 miles or more to the track like some of us? :)

Might not drive to the track, but do loads of driving around/going to shows etc. How many would use trailers for racing if they owned one? ;)
Think they should have a new class at the Nats for ROAD LEGAL cars too! :thumbright:

Yeah LOCAL shows a half hours drive away.

Sure. A trailer would be good for racing. In case of damage and to carry spares/tools/slicks/etc.
But not for going to shows like you do Steve. I have never seen you drive the Chally to to any shows up here and you trailered it to the midlands which is spitting distance. ;)

I would definately use a trailer for racing...takes the pressure off and you can arrive ready to run havin prepped the car at home, and not rushing to do it at the track especially a busy events

Had the grief of trying to repair a car for a journey bodged together

I dont need to justify my car as a road car it is and does plenty of road trips and events
I drove to Shakey HRD last year on saturday ran 4x 12.0's and drove home same day....Fun, but very hard work alone and tiring

You really wanna get that looked at Dave

Having setup this great new section to the forum are we now going to argue about our suitablility to post in it?

I think even Simon could get away with posting news of his latest 17 sec pass in his Dart here, it's still on a a track. Posting about the racing in here leaves the General and Lounge sections free for Clivey's terrible jokes :sad4:

Spot on!

Drove the Dart there, but because it has a motor plate it suddenly is in the same class as Voodoo Hemi - what's that all about ???? :read2:

But isn't the Dart a trailer queen now, Pete? ;)
