Non-mopar tyre issue

My Sis has honda civic tubro diesel box-on-wheels Gel filled safety tyres
her front right tyre went flat so she took it to handa who fitted one new one
3 months later smoke from the other side (3 months ago this was a perfectly good 6 month old tyre) caused her to stop
the inner wheel arch was filled with tyre dust and the tyre was smoking and had deliaminated to the extent that the outer rubber was loose and the tyre went flat
it was also completely bald across 3/4 of the tread.
took it to Quick fit who put 2 new tyres on because they absolutley refused to only put one onto the front of a high powered (ha) front wheel drive car
on checking the tyre that honda had previously fitted
its a softer compound
higher speed rated
slightly taller
slightly wider
different and directional tread pattern
porche car specific tyre
Honda won't admit to doing anything wrong
now even with my limited tyre knowledge i would have had a back wheel on the front to replace the punctured tyre not mismatch on the driven wheels..
it really anoyed me she does 15000-20000 miles a year and knowing my sister the majority at 95mph+
my suspicion is they (Honda) put her life at major risk but i don't have the knowledge to back up my concers effectivly in the letter that will be written.
anyone shed any light on whether this is common practice or gross negligence.
i suspect the latter but don't want to go-off half cocked
cost her her 120 for the first incorrect tyre and 210 for the two new ones
