Either LSD axle oil (tractors, heavy plant etc use it) or normal gear oil with an aditive.

For the trans just about any trans fluid will actually work but type "F" fluid gives a firmer shift.

I was told not to use Dexron type trans fluids (but never found out why). I have always used the Valvolene type D fluid and it has worked well.

Nothing wrong with Dextron.
