Charger disc conversion

Can anybody tell what are the best disc conversion kits, for my 1968 Charger and where to get it from. Not after anything to fancy. Just like to stop a little bit quicker, yes it drums all round with no servo!

im looking to stick on the ssbc front and rear disc conversion, i know year one, summit and wilwood do a 'bolt on' conversion

Personally I wouldnt bother with rear disc brakes, seein' as all the weight is transfered to the front of the car when braking. Ive heard there a terrible pain in the ass anyway... Just my two cents..

Rear discs are for people with money to burn and bragging to do. The stock drums are fine on the rears. In fact they work very well indeed.

However there are a few kits on the market now that use the existing drum brake spindle (aka steering knuckle) which might make conversion easier.
Any US MoPar magazine is full of adverts for stuff like this.

I loose that weight difference every morning about 9:15am while sat in a very small room reading the free Metro paper wishing I had brought in some wet wipes.

bonus for drums on the rear is they are positive spring off so release faster than disc, also adjusted a little on the slack side there is no added drag again unlike disc

Many drag racers in the '60s used to use the small drum brakes from 6 cylinder cars etc on the front instead of discs in order to cut down on drag.
But top speeds were not so high as these days of course.

Well going to aftermarket discs in the front from factory discs I saved 14lb each side, you have a big colon!!!
