Hi All

Decided to take my 75 Coronet 318 auto for a little drive today, got about 1/2 mile up the road and it conked out at the front of the traffic lights!

Every time I tried to restart, it fired up but as soon as I eased of the gas it cut out again.

Anyway, I then sat revving it (not too harshly) for about 5 mins, after which it seemed ok - so I decided to make a dash for home at this point.

I think it probably has the basic 2bbl carb with auto choke - is that likely to be the problem?

Any quick fix solutions? Or should I get a new carb. Is it possible to fit these with a manual choke?

thats a good possibility actually - I guess since I haven't had this Coronet long, I just have to get used to it - my Charger never seemed to have that problem though.
