Well, new home, new car, maybe new job ... seems like I've got a whole new life!

Helping to prove you don't have to spend more than £1500 on a car there's this, for the princely sum of £800. 1.6 16v SOHC Honda D16A6 engine, 7K redline with enough torque to pull up a 1/6 gradient in 5th at 1000rpm. Its nippy and on the drive to work I'm burning next to no fuel :)

In case you're wondering, moving house and swapping car insurance at the same time ain't such a brilliant idea

But yes, its mostly working to have cleared the decks all in one go ... I'm also clearing a lot of my stuff out (will be putting some Yank stuff up for sale here soon!).

Wahey! Done a similar thing with my Rav 4...great for picking up parts, doesn't matter if it gets a few scrapes and does loads to the gallon!

looks like a good 'un. a smart and economical car for the money.
Always best to do it in one go - I changed careers and moved house to a renovation project last year. Got it all out of the way.......
Good luck to you James,
Nick :thumbright:

It's nippy, the twin-cam version of the same engine is q good bit quicker. It'll probably run somewhere in the 16s (more than enough for a daily :)) ... I'll give it a bash at York in due course :)

There's a couple of bits to sort out, but they're trivial. Anywho, certainly feels like I'm on track life-wise now, the future's bright :D
