Love it, he has the turbine down as being made by "Boing"
So it must have a big spring in it then.

What a bunch of muppets! If they're gonna ruin a car, why couldn't they do a Proton or something? Once they've finished it, and it's been run a couple of times, it'll end up down the scrappy's. Waste of time, money, and a nice car.

The original Dodge Charger concept was designed with using a turbine in mind.
At the time that the Charger was first on the drawing board Chrysler had been testing turbine cars with promising results. The designers had this in mind when designing every aspect of the car. Which is why the front grille on the '68 looks like a jet aircraft air intake and the rear lights look like afterburners.
So he is using the right car for his project. Just the wrong year.

...it probably get better gas mileage....
Shame he didn't use a Bond microcar - would have been more amusing on the strip......
