An out of the box Eddy head flows a maximum of around 290 cfm on the intake at .600 lift. I very much doubt a tunnel ram would cause that any restriction.

Thought you had some indy heads , how much flow are you looking?
I think the max porting on the Eddys is around 360 cfm.

And the rule of thumb for how much power that supports is cfm x 2 = hp level.

So everything being equal , a set of out the box eddy heads with a flow of near on 300 cfm (no two

) with a valve lift of .7 will be good for upto 600 HP (584).
Love the rule of thumb Kev.

You could make that sort of power easy enough with an all iron 440. You should be able to make 600hp without really trying on the stroker.....

So i take it the Indy s are Max wedge ports and the tunnel ram isnt
Are they 440-1 indys
The new Eddy Victors will make nearly 800 HP on a stroker 440/500
the stock eddys about 620-650 HP
the Indy-brocks about 700 HP
....from what i have read

Stick a intake on that will match and have done with it, why mess with the Eddys if you have Indys

Have the indys got larger valves? , if so you'd be pretty silly not to use em @ this stage , no point havin all that flow backing up on the smaller valves , be like heathrow on a bad day.
