Steering Box Leak

Now the engine is out of our 72 340 Challenger, it could be time to tackle a fluild leak from where the steering column shaft enters the power steering box.
Is this do-able as a mechanic, or a highly specialised job?
I can get a tool made to remove the castle nuts.
Can loose parts be sourced?
If not DIY, does anyone in the UK work on these, or should it be sent to the specialists in the USA?

You don't need to remove any part of the box, just remove the roll pin and slide the column joint off (has master spline). Hook out the seal and replace - available anywhere that does bearings eg BSL although might be called something else now. Oh rap the splines with a bit of masking tape to protect the seal as you slide it in.

I replaced this seal on my PSB, with PSB in car, with engine in car etc, method as Richard describes, a bit fiddly but do-able, leak cured
