Mopar Mark wrote:Adam, got any more pictures from the old Brighton run? Not necessarily of 'Cudas. Lost most of my pictures when I split with the first wife.

As I've got my scanner going Mark, here's a new thread just for you...

Excellent period pics Adam! What year and whereabouts was that in Brighton? Doesn't look like Madiera drive, or is it up the end by the marina?

Hold on, why dont we have Mopar meets at Brighton anymore?
Anything stopping us having another one? Worth it if we could get 20, 30, more cars there ?
Should be able to match the attendance of events like Duxford, dontcha think?
Is that car park still there/useable?
Just a thought....

Oops, sorry Rob - I nicked all the ones that had my old Satellite in them. I took one almost the same as that last one of yours - must have been standing next to you!
Yes TF, far end of Madeira Drive, at the Black Rock car park. Looks a bit different now. Had a few MMA meets there in the mid 80's.
I'll dig out some more pics...

Suits me Rob - I could get there and back on a gallon of gas!
Black Rock car park's long gone, but there are other car parks along the coast that we could potentially use. I'd be happy to organise, if there's a bit of interest.

Yeah Madeira Drive is a no-go area, especially at night, but there are other car parks. Few more pics...

Excellent !
Is it me or is the weather in all these posts just how I remember summers back then-
u know- bright n sunny!
Instead of wetter than an Otters pocket like they are now !!!
